The city of Mumbai is being terrorized by organized crime and Commissioner Avinash wants to put an end to the master mind behind the misdeeds. Inspector Dhanush is a honest police officer cracking down the case for Avinash and putting the criminals behind bars. Soon Dhanush finds out that the master mind is none other than Avinash's good friend, Nageshwar who has immense wealth and name in the society. But tragedy strikes when Dhanush is killed in action while apprehending Nageshwar. Commissioner Avinash's comes to know about a prisoner who is a look alike of Inspector Dhanush and hatches a plan to resurrect Dhanush and get to the root of the crime world. How will a prisoner fill in the shoes of a hard boiled cop like Dhanush? Will Nageshwar's truth be revealed?
